One year to a new me! 11/25/09

I am married and have 5 kids. I am the kind of person who wants and needs to be organized. Unfortunetly no one else in my family is like me. I have decided to set a goal, a goal to get my life back. Hell to completely start a new one. I have so many things i want to do and redo, fix and start over. This is not something thats going to happen over night so I am giving myself one year to complete my goal. Starting on january 1st 2010 I will put my plans into motion to change my life. Between now and then I am going to make a list of things i want to do with my life like break old habits, start new ones and so on. My next blogg will have everything that i want to do in it. Then i will start. I will add pics and everything i can to track my progress. I will get my life on the track I want it to be on.

* become physically fit...yoga, walking, etc.
* become mentally fit...meditation
* get my GED
* make a garden
* take a class for fun..pottery, art, etc.
* learn another language
* have better skin and hair
* learn to take a stand for what i believe
* stop wearing my heart on my sleeve
* stop being a procrastinator
* be more thankful for what i do have
* be more motivated to go after the things i don't
* make better use of my time and money
* get organized
* keep in touch with long distant family better
Okay so this is my starter list.I will officially start on January 1st, 2010 and keep a weekly blog on my progress and failures. My next blog between now and then will be on ideas to get me started on some. Wish me luck!!!

ZUMBA- 12/6/09

So in my search for an easy and fun workout I ran across something I've never seen....Zumba! Researching it I found out that an aerobics instructor had forgotten his music for class and just grabbed a mixed cd from his car. Salsa and hip hop tracks. He just went with it and mixed together salsa,hip hop and other dances and created Zumba. Its huge on youtube right now and looks like tons of fun. Many have added belly dancing and African dance moves to the mix. It's not your typical workout. No counting or reps to keep up with, just dance to music that has a great beat and keeps your hips shaking. This is so on my list to try.
